What do we offer?
Monday is our activity night where pool is played and there is an opportunity to play in the Youth Service Pool League.
Thursday nights is Junior Night which is for years 5 to 7 and is run by Senior Member Helpers who are volunteers and this session would not run without them.
Friday is a general drop in with a disco session which is for year 8 and upwards. It is a great place to visit, relax and socialise with your peers.
In the furture we might run short courses to introduce young people to basic car maintenance with a chance of driving some 'off road' go carts as part of the course.
Duke of Edinburgh’s Award
Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Open Award Centre – Every Thursday evening 6.30pm to 9.30pm – giving young people the opportunity to gain a range of skills in order to obtain a Bronze, Silver or Gold Award. This is not a Newport Youth Centre members evening, everyone is welcome to come along.
